Get ready for a laughter-filled afternoon at Cultureel Lint Festival 2025 in Weert. Enjoy a high-energy, 30-minute English stand-up comedy show in the cosy and typically Dutch setting of Theater De Huiskamer, presented by Lightcity Comedy Eindhoven.

  • 14:30: Kunal, Sebastian Atkinson & Max Bastiaansen

Two rising talents from the vibrant Eindhoven comedy scene, Sebastian Atkinson and Max Bastiaansen, bring fresh perspectives and sharp wit to the stage.

Sebastian, originally from Wroclaw, Poland, has spent the past two years shaping his craft within Lightcity Comedy. Known for his blend of dark humour and storytelling, he has already taken his comedy back across borders, performing in Poland.

Max, a 20-year-old graphic designer from Tilburg, was quickly captivated by stand-up and has become a regular in Eindhoven's English comedy scene. With a style full of youthful energy and creativity, he has already expanded his reach internationally with performances in Berlin.

 
  • 16:00: Kunal & Arsel

Meet Kunal and Arsel, the comedic duo behind Lightcity Comedy Eindhoven. Arsel, a mechanical engineer by profession, brings a quirky and observational style to the stage. Kunal delivers dry, deliberate humour with sharp timing. Together, they offer a unique blend of urban comedy that’s fresh, relatable, and perfect for international audiences.

 

This special performance sets the tone for a day of laughter and cultural celebration, and serves as a warm-up for Weert’s first official stand-up comedy performance on October 28th.
