“We play, you sing.” Popup Choir isn’t a traditional concert, cabaret, or musical theater. This is a fully interactive evening where the audience is the performer. With quick jokes, sharp improvisation, and above all, the “wow” feeling of singing together. Anyone can do this, even if your voice sounds like a rasp.
Tijmen de Koning and Maarten Bos take you on a musical, boisterous evening where you are the center of attention. The guys will make you laugh, move, and teach you to sing one song in majestic harmony with the entire audience. Forget running, yoga, or pills; this is the dopamine rush you need to feel great.
Sing your heart out in a theater full of other music lovers to the music of Queen. Unleash your inner Freddie. You’ll learn one song in harmony with the audience, and for the other half of the evening, you’ll belt out all those other hits. Bring your friends, your partner, or your mom. Or just come on your own.
Since 2017, tens of thousands of people have come closer together through Popup Choir simply by singing. Friends and strangers; boundaries fade away when we raise our voices together.
After sold-out shows at Carré, Paradiso, the Concertgebouw, and the main stage at Lowlands, Popup Choir is now coming to us.
Are you ready-freddie?
